Sienkevych has distributed utilities among his deputies: who is responsible for what?

The mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, has approved the division of functional subordination of the city's municipal enterprises among his subordinates. It concerns his deputies and the manager of the executive committee.

The relevant order of 18 June was published on the website of the Mykolaiv City Council, according to NikVesti.

Control over the key enterprises and institutions of the city is assigned as follows: the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, controls the municipal TV channel «MART».

First Deputy Mayor Vitalii Lukov is in charge of the Institute for Social and Economic Development of the city and the Energy Efficiency Centre.

Vice Mayor Serhii Korenev is responsible for capital construction of the city, the work of the Mykolaiv Development Agency, and the housing and communal enterprise «Prybuzhzhia».

Deputy Mayor for Humanitarian Affairs Anatolii Petrov is in charge of the municipal enterprise «, the pharmacy, the catering department in educational institutions, the Central City Stadium, the shelter for the elderly, as well as all enterprises and institutions in the field of healthcare, physical culture, education, social protection and culture.

Deputy Yuriy Andriyenko is in charge of a number of key municipal infrastructure enterprises, including «Mykolaivoblteploenergo», «Mykolaivelektrotrans», «Mykolaivpastrans», «Mykolaivvodokanal», «Mykolaivkomuntrans», «Mykolaiv Funeral Service». As well as a number of housing and communal enterprises: KP «GDMB», KSMEP, «Animal Protection Centre», «Mykolaiv Parks», «Doroga», «Mykolaivsudprom», DES «Pilot», «Obrii - VCT».

The City Centre for Support of Internally Displaced Persons and ATO Veterans is under the control of Vice Mayor Yurii Stepants.

Andrii Volkov, manager of the executive committee, is in charge of the city information and computing centre, Mykolaiv vegetable base, city market, ME «Timeset».

Earlier, the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, presented a draft of a new structure of executive bodies, which was developed in accordance with the recommendation of the Ernst & Young audit. The new structure envisages a reduction in the number of key spending units, liquidation and consolidation of departments. At the same time, the mayor's office is not yet able to say how much the number of executive body officials and their maintenance costs will be reduced.
